Taking on the role of Chair for this year’s WICWC Golf Tournament is deeply personal for me. As a young mother, I understand the immense value of support—emotional, physical, and practical—when life throws unexpected challenges our way. That’s why the West Island Cancer Wellness Centre’s mission resonates so strongly with me.

My mother is a breast cancer survivor, and she went through her diagnosis and treatment while raising a young family, without the kind of resources or community support that WICWC offers today. I often think about how much she would have appreciated a place like this, a space where healing extends beyond the hospital walls. In many ways, this is my tribute to her and to everyone who walks a similar path.

This year’s tournament is shaping up to be one of the most exciting yet! We’ve got brand new games, a wide array of incredible prizes and auction items, and of course, fantastic food and drink. We’re thrilled to welcome back 40 Westt for another year, and we’re adding some new food stations to keep things fresh and delicious throughout the day.

It’s going to be an unforgettable event for an extraordinary cause. I can’t wait to see you all there.
