The West Island Cancer Wellness Centre (WICWC) is a registered charity dedicated to offering compassionate care and support to anyone living with cancer – either having it themselves or supporting someone with cancer. We are located in the West Island of Montreal but we service all of Canada through our remote classes as well as our Living Well With Cancer Network. We serve both those diagnosed with cancer as well as their supporters.
Our mission is to empower individuals living with cancer by offering them compassionate support and thorough information across the 7 Pillars of Cancer Wellness. These pillars encompass Physical, Emotional, Spiritual, Informational, Systemic, Practical, and Social aspects of well-being.
At the West Island Cancer Wellness Centre, we prioritize a whole-person approach that complements traditional cancer treatments, empowering individuals living with cancer to take control of their well-being, find strength, and improve their quality of life.
We understand that when someone is diagnosed with cancer, it can have a profound impact on their loved ones. That’s why we have created resource lists to provide support for all those living with cancer, whether directly or through a family member or friend.
Our resource lists are designed to support children, teenagers, and young adults, as well as their caregivers, teachers, and bereaved loved ones.
Professionals volunteer their expertise, enriching our services and making a meaningful impact.
