The West Island Cancer Wellness Centre (WICWC) is here for you. Whether you’re navigating your own diagnosis or supporting someone you love, we offer compassionate care and essential support tailored to your journey. As a registered charity, our Centre in the West Island of Montreal offers a welcoming space, and our virtual classes connect individuals across Canada. At WICWC, no one living with cancer is ever alone.
Our mission is to empower individuals living with cancer by offering them compassionate support and thorough information across the 7 Pillars of Wellness. These pillars encompass Physical, Emotional, Spiritual, Informational, Systemic, Practical, and Social aspects of well-being.
At the West Island Cancer Wellness Centre, we prioritize a whole-person approach that complements traditional cancer treatments, empowering individuals living with cancer to take control of their well-being, find strength, and improve their quality of life.
We understand that when someone is diagnosed with cancer, it can have a profound impact on their loved ones. That’s why we have created resource lists to provide support for all those living with cancer, whether directly or through a family member or friend.
Our resource lists are designed to support children, teenagers, and young adults, as well as their caregivers, teachers, and bereaved loved ones.
Professionals volunteer their expertise, enriching our services and making a meaningful impact.
