When you donate publicly traded securities (stocks, mutual funds, bonds, etc.), you can eliminate the capital gains tax and still receive a tax receipt for their full market value. The Centre would get the full value of the securities, helping to ensure that we are here for years to come to help anyone living with cancer.
In addition:
• Stocks and bonds can be transferred easily. Simply download and bring the attached form to your bank and follow the instructions.
• The gift can be included in your Will or given at any time.
